A L Overseas Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Accountant to lead our day-to-day accounting functions, ensure tax compliance, and manage core financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting: Manage daily accounting, general ledger entries, monthly financial closing, and bank reconciliations using Busy software.
- Taxation & Compliance: Prepare, verify, and file monthly/quarterly GST returns and Income Tax returns (TDS, TCS, Advance Tax) in strict compliance with statutory deadlines.
- Audit & Reporting: Prepare profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and assist with internal and annual statutory audits.
- Billing & Receivables: Supervise Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), invoicing, vendor payments, and inventory management.
- Team Supervision:
Guide and oversee junior accounting staff and enforce internal financial controls.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
- Software: Proven expertise in Busy accounting software (mandatory) and advanced MS Excel.
- Taxation Expertise: Strong practical knowledge of GST laws, Income Tax regulations, TDS/TCS filings, and tax portal procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce/Finance (B.Com/M.Com) or related qualification.
