The IAD Facilitator is responsible for delivering an engaging and industry-relevant learning experience for students pursuing Interior Architecture & Design programmes.
The role involves training, mentoring, project evaluation, student engagement and academic coordination, while also supporting workshops, site visits, competitions, seminars and selected centre-level marketing activities.
The facilitator is expected to create a positive studio environment, provide practical industry exposure and ensure students receive continuous academic and project support throughout their learning journey.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Training & Academic Delivery
- Conduct classes in software, technical subjects and theory as assigned.
- Deliver practical and industry-oriented training aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Clarify students' academic, technical and project-related doubts during and after classes.
- Provide relevant subject knowledge and industry insights to enhance students' understanding.
- Maintain a positive, engaging and professional learning environment within the classroom, studio and lab.
- Conduct classes at schools and colleges when required.
- Support the training of facilitators/trainers from other RSC or franchise centres when assigned by Corporate.
2. Student Mentoring & Project Guidance
- Guide students throughout their academic and project journey.
- Evaluate student projects and provide constructive feedback and practical design insights.
- Encourage students to develop stronger design thinking, technical skills and presentation abilities.
- Motivate and support students to participate in internal and external design competitions.
- Assist students with competition preparation and project development wherever required.
- Monitor student progress and ensure timely completion of assigned subjects and projects.
3. Workshops, Seminars & Industry Exposure
- Initiate, coordinate and participate in seminars, workshops and site visits.
- Organize and conduct department-related activities such as:
- Aesthetics workshops
- Vaastu workshops
- Material demonstrations
- Model-making workshops
- Design-related activities and demonstrations
- Other IAD learning activities
- Accompany students during site visits, workshops and other academic activities.
- Facilitate practical exposure to materials, construction methods, design processes and industry practices.
4. Student Engagement & Experience
- Maintain a professional, collaborative and inspiring studio environment.
- Communicate relevant information to students regarding:
- Holidays
- Batch schedules / offsets
- Academic activities
- Workshops and events
- Other centre-level announcements
- Maintain regular communication with students regarding academic requirements and activities.
- Contribute to overall student satisfaction, engagement and retention.
- Build strong student relationships and encourage positive student references and word-of-mouth recommendations.
5. Academic & Administrative Coordination
- Maintain accurate student attendance records.
- Track and maintain records of subjects and syllabus completed by each student.
- Maintain records of projects submitted by students.
- Ensure academic documentation and student project records are updated regularly.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing the department's academic resources.
- Create and maintain a useful library of materials, magazines, reference books and relevant study resources.
- Ensure the classroom, studio and lab are maintained in a clean, organized and professional condition.
6. Centre & Marketing Support
- Support counsellors during counselling sessions by providing technical explanations, course demonstrations and academic inputs when required.
- Participate in centre-level marketing activities such as:
- Seminars
- Workshops
- Exhibitions / stalls
- Student showcases
- College and school activities
- Other promotional initiatives
- Conduct technical demonstrations that help prospective students understand the nature and scope of IAD programmes.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong knowledge of Interior Architecture & Design
- Good command of relevant design software and/or technical subjects
- Robust communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging manner
- Student mentoring and classroom management skills
- Practical understanding of interior design processes and industry practices
- Project evaluation and design critique skills
- Ability to conduct workshops and demonstrations
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Willingness to participate in site visits, events and centre activities
- Positive, approachable and student-focused attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic, centre and corporate teams
QUALIFICATION
Candidates with any of the following qualifications may apply:
- B.Arch
- B.Sc. Interior Design
- B.Des. Interior Design
- Diploma / Master Diploma in Interior Design or a relevant stream
Relevant experience may be preferred for certain positions; however, candidates with strong technical knowledge and relevant qualifications may also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
