Job Summary

Maxima Automation is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor – Instrumentation to supervise instrumentation installation, testing, commissioning, and daily site execution activities for the Apollo Tyres project at Sri City, TADA.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation installation, calibration, loop checking, commissioning, manpower supervision, and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily instrumentation installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Execute work as per approved P&IDs;, instrument index, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, loop drawings, layouts, and project specifications.
- Supervise installation of transmitters, control valves, switches, gauges, sensors, analyzers, and other field instruments.
- Coordinate instrument mounting, tubing, impulse lines, pneumatic connections, junction boxes, cable laying, glanding, termination, and field wiring.
- Supervise calibration, continuity checks, megger testing, loop checking, functional testing, and commissioning.
- Allocate work and coordinate with technicians, electricians, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor manpower productivity and ensure daily/weekly targets are achieved.
- Check availability and proper utilization of instrumentation materials, cables, glands, fittings, tubing, supports, and junction boxes.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Electrical, Commissioning, QA/QC, Safety, and Project teams.




- Coordinate with Apollo Tyres/customer representatives regarding site execution and technical issues.
- Identify drawing discrepancies, material shortages, installation issues, and site constraints and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support PLC, SCADA, DCS, control panel, and automation system commissioning activities.
- Prepare daily progress reports, manpower reports, material requirements, and work status updates.
- Assist with punch-point closure, snag-list clearance, inspection reports, and commissioning documentation.
- Maintain calibration certificates, inspection reports, test reports, loop-checking records, and other project documents.
- Coordinate inspections with QA/QC and customer representatives.
- Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, SAT, trial runs, and final handover.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with site safety, PPE, permit-to-work, and HSE requirements.

Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related discipline.
- Relevant experience in industrial instrumentation installation and commissioning.
- Good knowledge of field instrumentation, cable termination, tubing, impulse lines, junction boxes, and control systems.
- Ability to read and understand P&IDs;, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, loop drawings, and instrument layouts.
- Experience in calibration, loop checking, functional testing, and commissioning.
- Experience in industrial projects,



manufacturing plants, process industries, automation projects, or tyre/automotive plants will be an advantage.
- Good manpower coordination and site supervision skills.
- Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial automation systems is preferred.

Candidate Requirements

- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Must be willing to work at Sri City / TADA project site.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in an industrial project environment.
- Willingness to work according to project requirements and site schedules.
- Candidates with strong instrumentation installation and site supervision experience will be preferred.

Shift & Travel

Shift: Day shift preferred; flexibility required based on project requirements.

Travel: Local/project-related travel may be required.

Important: This is a site-based position. Candidates must be willing to relocate/work at the project location.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
