Job Summary

The Design Executive is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining packaging designs as per customer requirements, production feasibility, and quality standards. The role involves creating box structures, artwork coordination, sample development, and supporting the sales and production teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development

- Develop corrugated box and packaging designs as per customer specifications.
- Prepare die-line drawings and box layouts.
- Create recent packaging solutions to optimize cost and improve performance.
- Prepare design approvals and customer presentations.

Sample Development

- Coordinate sample preparation and testing.
- Ensure samples meet customer requirements before production.
- Maintain records of approved designs and samples.

Artwork & Documentation

- Coordinate with customers and artwork agencies for print artwork approvals.
- Prepare design specifications, BOMs, and technical sheets.
- Maintain design files and revision history.

Production Support

- Provide technical support to PPC, Production, and QA departments.
- Resolve design-related issues during production.
- Ensure designs are production-friendly and cost-effective.

Customer Coordination





- Understand customer packaging requirements.
- Participate in customer meetings regarding design changes and new developments.
- Support the Sales team during new business development.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of corrugated packaging and box design.
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
- Understanding of printing processes and packaging materials.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience

- 2–5 years experience in corrugated box manufacturing or packaging industry.
- Experience in structural packaging design preferred.
