POSITION SUMMARY:

Why become a Global Client Services team member?

The Global Client Services (GCS) team supports Grant Thornton in winning international engagements, facilitating cross-border service integration between GTIL member firms, and mobilizing talent throughout the international network. GCS manages our International Business Center which is comprised of professionals who act as ambassadors to foster cross-border opportunities for international clients by linking member firms with resources and expertise within the Grant Thornton network. In addition to facilitating the delivery of international business, our team provides coaching on global processes and protocols to ensure the adoption of best practices within the network.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manager – Global Client Services (Lead-to-Cash work) would work across the following three initiatives, coordinating stakeholders and driving the day-to-day development and implementation of the agreed outputs.

- Support cross-border sales plays: support solution taxonomy mapping and prioritization; coordinate Service Line / market inputs; and support development and rollout of priority solutions, sales assets and training.
- Support and co-ordinate inputs regarding cross-border engagement economics: coordinate inputs across firms and support development, testing and rollout of the cross-border rate card, pricing and revenue/profit-sharing approach.
- Development of capability visibility: coordinate capability data collection across firms, build and maintain the consolidated capability dataset, and support publication of the interim GTA capability view.

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA or equivalent in business, accounting, marketing,



communications, or related field
- 8 to 12 years’ experience with an accounting and/or professional services firm a strength.
- Experience supporting pricing-related initiatives within a professional services environment would be highly valuable
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and project teams, working under tight deadlines, when necessary.
- Foreign language skills, and the practical application of foreign language use abroad a plus
- Interested candidates should demonstrate an affinity for learning on the job and problem-solving as well as an ambition to work across service lines
- The candidate should be a self-starter and demonstrate strength in working autonomously on assignments and initiatives
- The candidate should be culturally sensitive and able to demonstrate agile and collaborative cross-cultural communication skills
- This adaptable employee will need to be the kind of professional that thrives in an environment where they are expected to think strategically and are presented with new problems to solve
- Flexible work hours may be required to accommodate GCS international partners and teammates due to time zone differences




- Working knowledge of international client services and service delivery is beneficial and some marketing or business development experience a plus
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills are very important and experience in developing business-to-business communications, including promotional and direct marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, proposals, etc. helpful
- Event planning, promotion and management experience with events like seminars and conferences, as well as “virtual” webcast/webinar events a bonus
