About the Role

Kommuno Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a QA Lead / Senior QA Engineer to join our product engineering team in Mohali.

We are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in manual testing, API testing, regression testing, and QA processes, along with the ability to take ownership of product quality.

Candidates with experience working in a Product-Based / SaaS company will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage QA activities throughout the software development lifecycle
- Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and system testing
- Create and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects
- Perform API testing and basic database validation
- Validate fixes and conduct regression testing
- Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Support teams
- Improve test coverage, QA processes, and testing methodologies
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and release planning
- Support and guide junior QA team members
- Contribute to automation initiatives using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools

Required Skills

- 3–6 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance




- Prior experience in a Product-Based / SaaS company is preferred
- Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing
- Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC
- Experience with Functional, Regression, Integration, and UI Testing
- Good understanding of API Testing
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools
- Basic knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have

- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or other automation tools
- Experience testing web applications and APIs
- Experience leading or mentoring QA team members
- Experience working on SaaS or AI-based products
