We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Secondary Teacher to teach Economics and Mathematics within an IGCSE/International School setting. The role involves delivering engaging, concept-based lessons, developing students’ analytical and problem-solving abilities, and preparing learners effectively for IGCSE assessments.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Commerce, Education, or a relevant subject, as applicable to the subjects being taught.
- B.Ed. / teaching qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an IGCSE/Cambridge or international school.
- Strong understanding of IGCSE curriculum, assessment frameworks, and subject-specific pedagogy.
- Experience teaching Senior Secondary/IGCSE students will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the IGCSE/Cambridge curriculum.
- Develop students’ conceptual understanding, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Teach Economics through real-world applications, case studies, data interpretation and current economic concepts.
- Teach Mathematics using inquiry-based and differentiated approaches to cater to varied learning abilities.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, assessments and examination-oriented materials.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students to support academic progress.
- Track student performance and implement appropriate interventions for students requiring additional support.
- Prepare students for IGCSE examinations, including examination techniques, past-paper practice and subject-specific skills.




- Maintain accurate academic records, assessment data and student progress reports.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators and the academic leadership team for curriculum planning and development.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, professional development programmes and other academic initiatives.
- Promote a positive, inclusive and student-centric classroom environment.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.

Requirements & Skills

- Strong subject knowledge in Economics and/or Mathematics with the ability to teach at Senior Secondary/IGCSE level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Ability to design differentiated learning experiences for diverse learners.
- Good understanding of assessment, feedback and data-driven academic interventions.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools, presentations and learning platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural and international school environment.
- Passion for teaching, continuous learning and student development.
- A child-centric, reflective and growth-oriented approach to teaching.

Preferred Experience

- Prior experience with Cambridge IGCSE / International curricula.
- Experience in teaching Economics and/or Mathematics to Grades 9–12 / IGCSE level.
- Cambridge assessment or examiner experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience with project-based, inquiry-based or experiential learning approaches.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
