Job Description – Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant
Department: Accounts & Finance
Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and records in Tally.
- Handle GST compliance, including GST returns, reconciliation, and related matters.
- Handle Income Tax (ITR) matters, including preparation and filing of ITRs.
- Manage GST and Income Tax notices, understand the issues, prepare appropriate replies, and coordinate for timely submission.
- Assist in handling GST and Income Tax cases, including documentation, follow-ups, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and maintain GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory records.
- Perform GST reconciliation and resolve differences between books, returns, and portal data.
- Prepare MIS reports, statements, and other financial reports as required.
- Maintain and analyze accounting data using Advanced Excel.
- Prepare Excel-based reports using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF formulas, data validation, and other advanced functions.




- Ensure timely completion of statutory and accounting compliances.
- Coordinate with CA/consultants, auditors, and other departments regarding tax and accounting matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for notices, replies, returns, and other statutory matters.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
- Good working knowledge of GST and Income Tax.
- Experience in handling GST & Income Tax notices and drafting/submitting replies.
- Strong knowledge of ITR preparation and filing.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel.
- Positive understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage accounting and tax-related work.

Reporting To: Accounts Head / Management

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
