1. Diamond Sourcing & Procurement

- Source diamonds according to jewellery designs, client requirements, specifications, and budgets.
- Identify and develop reliable diamond suppliers, dealers, manufacturers, and vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Compare quotations and market prices to ensure competitive procurement.
- Source natural and/or lab-grown diamonds as required by the business.
- Maintain solid relationships with diamond suppliers and continuously develop new sourcing channels.

2. Diamond Selection & Quality

- Check diamonds based on 4Cs – Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat.
- Evaluate certificates from reputed laboratories such as GIA, IGI, HRD, etc., wherever applicable.
- Ensure diamonds meet company quality standards before purchase.
- Coordinate diamond assorting, grading, matching, and selection.
- Identify quality issues, discrepancies, treated stones, or certification concerns.

3. Operations Management

- Manage the complete operational flow from diamond requirement → sourcing → purchase → inward → quality checking → inventory → issue to production → return/reconciliation.
- Coordinate with design, production, sales, merchandising, accounts, and management teams.
- Ensure diamonds are available as per production and customer requirements.
- Monitor pending requirements and ensure timely fulfilment.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all diamond movements.

4. Inventory & Stock Management

- Monitor diamond inventory, stock levels, ageing, and movement.
- Maintain accurate records of diamonds received, issued, returned, sold, and transferred.




- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Minimize excess, slow-moving, and dead stock.
- Ensure proper security and control over high-value diamond inventory.

5. Vendor Management

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with trusted suppliers.
- Evaluate vendors based on quality, pricing, reliability, credit terms, and delivery performance.
- Maintain an updated vendor database.
- Resolve quality, pricing, delivery, and payment-related issues with suppliers.
- Develop alternate vendors to reduce sourcing dependency and operational risk.

6. Cost & Commercial Management

- Track diamond market prices and identify favourable buying opportunities.
- Negotiate the best possible purchase rates without compromising quality.
- Analyze purchase costs and margins.
- Support management in budgeting and procurement planning.
- Identify opportunities to reduce sourcing and operational costs.

7. Team & Process Management

- Supervise the diamond sourcing and operations team.
- Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for sourcing and inventory.
- Train team members on diamond quality, documentation, systems, and operational processes.
- Ensure discipline, accuracy, confidentiality, and accountability within the team.

8. Reporting & MIS

- Prepare regular reports on:
- Diamond purchases
- Supplier performance
- Purchase rates
- Inventory and stock movement
- Pending requirements
- Slow-moving stock
- Procurement savings
- Vendor outstanding/credit status
- Provide management with insights on sourcing trends, pricing, availability, and operational issues.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
