Job Description – Purchase & Stores Executive

Industry: Diesel Generator Manufacturing
Location: Bhopal / Mandideep
Experience: 3–7 years in Purchase, Procurement & Stores

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement of materials required for DG manufacturing, service, and operations.
- Understand material requirements, BOMs, specifications, and coordinate with Production, Stores, Service, Design & Accounts.
- Source vendors, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate prices, and release Purchase Orders.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
- Manage Stores & Inventory, including inward/GRN, stock levels, material issue, stock reconciliation, and physical verification.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock, reorder levels, shortages, excess, and slow-moving inventory.
- Maintain purchase orders, vendor records, pending order reports, stock reports, and other MIS.
- Develop and manage vendor relationships and ensure quality, cost, and timely availability of materials.




- Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production and avoid production delays.

Material Knowledge

Knowledge of DG/industrial components, engine & alternator parts, electrical components, cables, panels, sheet metal, fabrication items, fasteners, batteries, filters, hoses, lubricants, hardware and consumables will be preferred.
