We are hiring a Lead Software Engineer - Python to lead engineering execution, influence architecture, and build scalable services with Python and strong database foundations. You will guide teams through Agile/Scrum delivery, raise code quality, and streamline automation with GitHub Actions across PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server work.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, craft technical designs, and ensure alignment with business goals
- Direct development of scalable, maintainable, high-quality software solutions
- Conduct code reviews and other technical reviews to uphold standards, best practices, and performance benchmarks
- Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate implementation of features and overall solutions
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems across all phases of the development lifecycle
- Guide and mentor engineers by providing technical leadership and encouraging skills development
- Drive adoption of modern tooling and processes, including CI/CD using GitHub Actions




- Improve application performance and tune database queries to ensure scalability and efficiency
- Use Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage delivery and provide iterative improvements
- Oversee database architecture decisions and ensure applications integrate properly with the data layer

Requirements

- 7-12 years of professional software development experience with clear expertise in Python
- Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server for schema design, performance optimization, and ongoing management
- Hands-on expertise with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows and development automation
- Working proficiency in ReactJS for building dynamic and interactive user experiences
- Good command of Scrum/Agile methodologies to support collaborative delivery

Nice to have

- Familiarity with additional front-end frameworks beyond ReactJS
- Experience optimizing performance for cross-platform applications
- Understanding of advanced DevOps practices and related tools
