Job Description:
The Manager - Training at Axis Max Life Insurance will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees across various departments. The Manager will collaborate with departmental heads to ensure that training aligns with the company’s goals and objectives. Additionally, this position will require monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvements. The Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of trainers and providing guidance and support to ensure consistency and quality in training delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
- Develop engaging and impactful training materials and programs.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at various levels.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure training aligns with organizational goals.
- Manage the training budget and resources efficiently.




- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development.
- Mentor and support a team of trainers to enhance their skills and performance.
- Prepare reports on training activities, evaluation results, and overall effectiveness.

Skills and Tools Required:

- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in training software and learning management systems (LMS).
- Experience in needs assessment, program design, and evaluation.
- Ability to analyze data and use metrics for decision-making.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the insurance industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, ATD) is advantageous.
