Senior Python Engineer — NeuroIQ

Build and own the Python backend powering NeuroIQ, an enterprise AI platform that includes RAG-based chat, specialized AI assistants, document intelligence, SOC/threat intelligence, and enterprise reporting. You’ll work on production-grade systems deployed on Azure and used by real enterprise customers.

You Will

- Design, build, and maintain asynchronous APIs using Python 3.12 and Quart, including REST APIs, SSE streaming, and webhooks.
- Extend and enhance LangChain / LangGraph-based RAG workflows, including retrieval, tool calling, citations, and multi-assistant routing.
- Integrate with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, MySQL, Redis, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Build and maintain database layers using SQLAlchemy and Alembic.
- Strengthen authentication and role-based access control (RBAC) using Azure AD.
- Improve observability, automated testing, performance, reliability, and production readiness.
- Deploy and operate backend services using Azure Container Apps and Docker.
- Work effectively within a large, evolving production codebase and contribute to architectural improvements.

Must Have




- 5+ years of skilled Python development experience.
- Strong experience with asynchronous Python, including async / await, concurrency, and API design.
- Production experience with SQLAlchemy, Alembic, and pytest.
- Hands-on experience building RAG / LLM applications using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
- Experience working with Azure or a comparable cloud platform.
- Ability to understand, enhance, and maintain a large existing codebase—not just build greenfield applications.

Nice to Have
- Experience with Quart, Flask, or similar Python web frameworks.
- Experience with Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Redis with Azure AD authentication, and Docker.
- Background in Security Operations / SOC or threat intelligence.
- Experience building Natural Language-to-SQL (NL-to-SQL) solutions.
- Experience with enterprise document processing, extraction, indexing, and retrieval pipelines.
- Experience generating enterprise reports or documents programmatically, including PDF and DOCX outputs.
