Job Description Senior Guidewire Engineer (Policy Center & Billing Center) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in both Policy Center and Billing Center. This individual will play a critical role in designing, configuring, and integrating Guidewire solutions that support enterprise insurance operations. The ideal candidate has deep configuration and integration experience, strong Java fundamentals, and a disciplined approach to engineering, including Test-Driven Development (TDD). Key Responsibilities Guidewire Development & Configuration 1.Design and implement solutions in PolicyCenter and BillingCenter 2.Perform configuration work including: - Product Model changes - PCF/UI enhancements - Business Rules - Workflows - Batch processes 3.Customize and extend Guidewire applications using Gosu Integration Development 1.Build and maintain integrations using: - Guidewire Integration Framework - REST and SOAP services - Messaging systems (where applicable) 2.Develop and maintain backend services using Java 3.Ensure secure and scalable integration patterns Engineering Best Practices - Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD)



practices - Maintain strong unit test coverage - Participate in peer code reviews - Follow clean code and OOP design principles - Support production troubleshooting and root cause analysis Collaboration & Delivery - Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps teams - Translate business requirements into technical design - Contribute to architectural discussions and technical planning - Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies Required Qualifications 1.5+ years of hands-on Guidewire development experience 2.Strong experience in both: - PolicyCenter - BillingCenter 3.Active Guidewire Certifications: - PolicyCenter (Associate or ACE preferred) - BillingCenter (Associate or ACE preferred) 4.Robust understanding of: - Java - Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) - Design patterns 5.Experience developing and consuming REST APIs 6.Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit or similar) 7.Experience working in Agile environments Preferred Qualifications - Guidewire Cloud experience - CI/CD pipeline knowledge - Messaging platforms (Kafka, JMS, etc.) - Performance optimization experience - SQL proficiency
