Job Description Job Title: Mainframe Security Expert - AVP - L3 Department: ITG- Production – BNPP Fortis About Business line/Function: The mission of the Squad Mainframe Security & Risks is: To establish security standards and ensure their correct implementation and respect. To implement, in the security tool, the rules needed to support the infrastructure-teams and support all users in security-related incidents. To manage, correct and document the security risks detected by different auditors. Position Purpose: The BNP Paribas Fortis IT department is working in Agile mode, which offers a challenging and motivating environment where teams and employees are empowered to manage their own technical domain. You will work in the IT Security Production Tribe, within the squad Mainframe System Security. Our stakeholders and partners can be part of the business, the rest of the local IT or the BNP Paribas IT Group. The Mainframe System Security squad manages the support and services in following risk- and security-related domains: Authentication Authorization and provisioning Security configuration and the monitoring of the configuration Risk management Security monitoring Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities Some of the main activities in the squad are: Manage the content of the RACF Database, either manually or by automation. This includes managing the certificates on the mainframe. Create and manage security standards and see to their application. Manage the security of most mainframe system components in accordance with the role-based setup of the security. Design, implement and document current programs and jobs and maintain existing programs, jobs and documentation to support the processes managed by the squad. Contribute to improvement initiatives as Critical Asset Recovery, DORA, Group Security Standard implementation, ...



Advice clients on the correct security setup and help them to realize this Third line security support and incident response, related to authentication, authorization or general security issues. Participation in squad on-call to resolve critical job-failures that occur outside business hours. ( +/- 1 week per month covering the non-business hours including weekend and holidays in that week) Risk management: o Take necessary actions to close risks. o Contribution to audit campaigns and control plans. o Reporting to management and other stakeholders. Technical & Behavioral Competencies Proven experience on the Mainframe in general Proven experience in the Mainframe Security domain (Security Administrator) Mandatory: Expert knowledge of RACF and the surrounding utilities The Mainframe Architecture in general Solid knowledge of Basic Mainframe Tools (JCL, ISPF, REXX, SDSF, ...) Role Based Security Modelling AT-TLS & Certificates Basic knowledge of The security of DB2, IMS (database and transaction management) and MQ Job Scheduling Most mainframe system subsystems and their security (Spool, network, storage, SMF,...) Public Key Infrastructure & the Mainframe CryptoCards Unix System Service Preferable – Knowledge of zSecure product suite Knowledge of the job scheduler Control-M Knowledge of COBOL Knowledge of Endevor Specific Qualifications: Agile environment Follows the Customer processes for projects, incident, and change management.
