Job Title: Salesforce Engagement Manager/ Architect

Experience: 8+ years

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

Lead a Salesforce engagement across solution architecture, delivery coordination, stakeholder management, and business systems analysis. The role requires solid Salesforce platform expertise with particular focus on Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) and Quote-to-Cash / Quote-to-Order processes. The individual will translate business priorities into scalable functional and technical solutions while coordinating Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, Release Management, Product Owners, and Administrators.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary engagement and solution leadership point for day-to-day Salesforce delivery, priorities, risks, dependencies, and technical decisions.
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution design and technical architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, supportable, and high-quality implementations.
- Lead solutioning for Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick), including product configuration, pricing, quoting, renewals, quote-to-order workflows, integrations, and related platform enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical recommendations, solution options, process designs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation approaches.
- Perform business systems analysis as required, including requirements clarification, process analysis, impact assessment, backlog refinement, and acceptance-criteria review.
- Drive solution estimation, sprint planning, architecture reviews, release planning, and delivery governance.
- Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, Release Managers, Product Owners, and Administrators to ensure smooth Agile delivery.
- Review Salesforce configurations, Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs/integrations, data and security implications,



and deployment strategies to ensure quality and platform best practices.
- Establish and reinforce Salesforce development standards, security practices, architecture principles, and platform governance.
- Provide technical guidance, architecture oversight, and escalation support for complex enhancements, defects, production issues, and cross-system dependencies.
- Manage stakeholder communication around technical decisions, delivery status, risks, dependencies, anticipated delays, and resolution plans.
- Maintain appropriate architecture, solution, process, and decision documentation.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning, and other delivery meetings as required.
- Coach and mentor team members through technical guidance, solution reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Drive continuous platform improvement by recommending Salesforce capabilities, architectural improvements, and process optimizations.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of Salesforce experience, including solution architecture and delivery leadership responsibilities.
- Strong hands-on understanding of Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) and Quote-to-Cash / Quote-to-Order processes, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, renewals, and order-related workflows.
- Strong Salesforce platform knowledge across configuration, Apex, LWC, Flows, REST APIs/integrations,



data model, security model, governor limits, CI/CD, and deployment considerations.
- Strong expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; Experience Cloud experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated business systems analysis capability, including translating business requirements into clear functional and technical solutions.
- Experience with solution estimation, sprint planning, architecture reviews, delivery governance, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management, written communication, documentation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading and mentoring distributed/offshore Salesforce teams.
- Ability to balance architecture quality, delivery timelines, changing priorities, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Ability to work with a minimum 4-hour daily overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Role Expectations

- Maintain the required daily overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours and be available for standups, sprint ceremonies, and real-time collaboration during the overlap window.
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodology and actively participate in ceremonies appropriate to the role.
- Maintain clear documentation and promptly communicate material issues, risks, dependencies, and anticipated delays.
- Follow applicable security, access-control, confidentiality, privacy, and acceptable-use requirements.
- Adapt to changing priorities and assignments within the scope of the role while maintaining delivery quality.
