ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Software Developer with 3 years of hands-on experience in Node.js to build and maintain scalable backend applications. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to build reliable services that support our high-volume platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Node.js.




- Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Work with TypeScript/JavaScript and relational databases such as MySQL.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Debug issues and provide effective solutions for production and development environments.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Frontend, and other engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding and development best practices.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Contribute to improving application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work on existing systems as well as new feature development.

Required Skills

- 3years of hands-on experience in backend development.
- Solid experience with Node.js.
- Good knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs.
- Good experience with MySQL and database concepts.
- Understanding of microservices and software design principles.
- Good knowledge of Git and standard development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with Laravel or Go.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
- Exposure to cloud platforms.
- Experience working with high-volume or distributed applications.

- Someone who has solid hands-on backend development experience, understands how production systems work, and can independently take ownership of development tasks while collaborating effectively with the engineering team.
