Job Summary

We are looking for a Vertex Technical Consultant with 3–5 years of experience in implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting Vertex tax solutions. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of tax determination, system integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support Vertex tax solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Vertex and ERP/enterprise applications.
- Work with Vertex O Series / Vertex Cloud and related tax solutions.
- Develop and troubleshoot REST/SOAP API integrations.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues related to tax calculation and determination.
- Work with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise applications.
- Support tax calculation, exemption, jurisdiction, and taxability-related integrations.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and production support.
- Troubleshoot interface and integration issues.




- Prepare technical documentation and integration specifications.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, tax teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support deployments, enhancements, and system upgrades.

Required Technical Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in Vertex technical implementation/support.
- Hands-on experience with Vertex O Series / Vertex Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Vertex integrations.
- Experience with REST APIs / SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, and web services.
- Experience integrating Vertex with SAP / Oracle / ERP systems.
- Good understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience in troubleshooting interfaces and technical issues.
- Knowledge of tax determination and transaction processing.

Good to Have
- Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP.
- Knowledge of Vertex Indirect Tax solutions.
- Experience with middleware/integration platforms.
- Experience in cloud-based applications.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
