MARKETING MANAGER

THE ROLE

Polite Society is an independent fashion brand based in Mumbai. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day marketing function at Polite Society. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working across different parts of the business. The role will involve both planning and execution, with a solid focus on getting things done and keeping the overall marketing calendar moving.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Distribution

- Work closely with the creative team to plan and manage the content calendar.
- Coordinate content distribution across social and other digital platforms.
- Ensure campaigns, launches and brand communication are executed on time.
- Keep track of content requirements, deadlines and deliverables.

Performance and Digital Marketing

- Track paid marketing campaigns in collaboration with external partners or internal teams.
- Monitor campaign performance and key digital marketing metrics.
- Coordinate with agencies and partners to ensure campaigns are executed effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital performance and customer acquisition.

Website and SEO

- Manage day-to-day website updates and content changes.
- Coordinate product launches, collections and website merchandising.




- Work on basic SEO initiatives and improve organic visibility and discoverability.
- Coordinate with developers or external partners when required.

WhatsApp and Email Marketing

- Plan and execute regular WhatsApp and email communication.
- Manage campaigns around launches, collections, offers and other brand initiatives.
- Maintain and develop customer communication and CRM initiatives.

Shoots and Creative Coordination

- Coordinate with the creative team, photographers, stylists and other collaborators for shoots and campaigns.
- Manage timelines, requirements and communication to ensure shoots are executed smoothly.
- Coordinate post-production requirements and ensure final assets are received and organised.

Stockist Communication

- Manage ongoing marketing communication with stockists.
- Coordinate marketing requirements, launches and campaign assets across accounts.
- Ensure stockist communication is timely and consistent.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, retail or a consumer brand.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media and brand communication.
- Someone who can independently manage their day-to-day work and take projects from planning through to execution.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple timelines at once.
