Position - Controlling Manager Location: Delhi Experience: 8+ Years Industry: Automobile Logistics / Car Carrier Transportation Employment type: Full time ## About the Role We are looking for an experienced **Controlling Manager – Car Carrier Operations** to manage and control end-to-end automobile transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in car carrier fleet management, OEM vehicle movement, vendor handling, cost optimization, and operational compliance. Key Responsibilities 1. Car Carrier Logistics Operations Management * Manage end-to-end operations of vehicle transportation through car carrier trailers. * Ensure smooth movement of vehicles from plant to dealer locations and customer destinations. * Monitor dispatch planning, route execution, delivery timelines, and operational efficiency. * Coordinate with OEM clients, transport teams, drivers, and regional branches. 2. Fleet Management * Control and monitor car carrier fleet utilization, availability, and productivity. * Ensure optimum vehicle deployment and minimize empty running. * Coordinate with maintenance teams for vehicle uptime and breakdown management. * Track fleet performance, turnaround time, fuel efficiency, and operational costs. 3. Vendor & Transporter Management * Manage external transporter/vendor relationships for operational support. * Evaluate vendor performance, capacity, and service quality. * Negotiate commercial terms and ensure adherence to operational requirements. 4.



Freight Cost Optimization * Analyse transportation costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. * Optimize routes, load planning, and vehicle utilization. * Control freight expenses while maintaining service quality. 5. Contract & SLA Management * Manage OEM/customer contracts and service-level commitments. * Ensure timely vehicle delivery as per agreed SLA parameters. * Monitor operational performance reports and take corrective actions. 6. Branch & Yard/Warehouse Operations Management * Oversee branch operations, vehicle parking yards, and dispatch activities. * Ensure proper coordination between loading points, transit teams, and delivery locations. * Maintain operational discipline and process compliance. 7. Transport Compliance & Risk Management * Ensure compliance related to vehicle documents, permits, insurance, safety, and transportation regulations. * Implement risk control measures for vehicle damage, delays, and operational issues. * Maintain safety and quality standards across operations. Required Skills & Experience * 8+ years of experience in **Automobile Logistics / Car Carrier / Vehicle Transportation Industry**. * Strong knowledge of car carrier operations, OEM vehicle movement, and fleet management. * Experience handling drivers, transporters, branches, and operational teams. * Good understanding of freight costing, route planning, and SLA management. * Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
