Role Description The Civil Structural Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This role involves designing and analyzing structural elements for residential and commercial projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. The engineer will prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports, coordinating closely with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and site teams. Daily responsibilities include evaluating construction materials, conducting site inspections, monitoring structural works, and resolving technical issues during execution.



The role also includes supporting project planning, tracking progress against timelines, and contributing to value engineering and sustainable design solutions that align with Prasad Group's quality and environmental goals.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering, with the ability to apply core engineering principles to building projects.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Structural Analysis, including use of relevant design and analysis software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, AutoCAD).
- Experience in Project Management, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams, scheduling, and tracking project milestones.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of Indian building codes, IS standards, and local regulatory requirements for structural design and construction.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings, prepare accurate documentation, and maintain transparent records.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality in all project phases.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Prior experience in real estate or building construction projects in urban environments is an advantage.
