About the Role

Roobaroo.ai is looking for two stellar Student Counsellors to connect with students and parents, understand their aspirations, and guide them towards relevant future-ready education programs. The role involves counselling, follow-ups, answering parent/student queries, and driving enrolments for our upcoming programs.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Call and follow up with student and parent leads.
- Understand student interests, aspirations and requirements.
- Explain program structure, benefits, schedules and pricing.
- Address queries around career guidance, profile building, AI, entrepreneurship, competitions and internships.
- Build trust with students and parents and guide them towards the right program.
- Drive conversions and achieve weekly enrolment targets.
- Maintain lead data, follow-ups and payment/confirmation status in Excel/CRM.
- Coordinate with the team to ensure a smooth student onboarding experience.

Who should Apply

This opportunity is suitable for:

- 1–3 years of experience in education, study abroad admission or career counselling preferred.
- Experience in EdTech, coaching, training or admissions is a plus.
- Strong communication, counselling and convincing skills.
- Comfortable communicating in English and Hindi.
- Comfortable with calls, follow-ups and performance-oriented work.
- Basic Excel/CRM and lead management skills.
- Passionate about helping students make better educational and career decisions

Engagement & Compensation:

- Part-time / Contract | Remote / NCR | Immediate Start | ~2.5 Months | 4–5 Hours/Day
- Model 1 – Commission Only: Tiered commission of 3%–8%, based on conversions and the final commission structure.
- Model 2 – Fixed + Variable:



₹10,000–₹15,000/month fixed, depending on profile and the commission structure we finalise, plus performance-based variable/commission on confirmed admissions.

Work Timings

- Flexible part-time hours (4–5 hours daily)
- Weekend availability preferred (higher parent connect time)

About the Founder - Bhaskar Singhania

An alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, Bhaskar has been part of Google for Startups & Stanford Accelerators and has mentored with NITI Aayog, Masters’ Union and Mesa School.
