WE’RE HIRING: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT — D2C / E-COMMERCE

CRITERIA: We’re looking for someone who knows accounting beyond just debits, credits and closing books. Someone who can take ownership of the numbers behind multiple D2C brands and understands how e-commerce businesses actually work.

THIS IS NOT JUST A “MAINTAIN THE BOOKS” ACCOUNTING ROLE.

You’ll be working across multiple D2C brands, handling everything from day-to-day accounting and reconciliations to financial reporting, compliance, inventory and e-commerce numbers.

You should be comfortable getting into the details, spotting discrepancies and knowing where the numbers are coming from — and where they’re going.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own end-to-end accounting across multiple D2C brands — AP, AR, GL and invoicing

• Handle month-end and year-end closing and ensure books are accurate and up to date





• Prepare and maintain financial reports including P&L;, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow

• Manage bank, vendor and payment gateway reconciliations

• Handle e-commerce accounting across platforms and marketplaces

• Track inventory, COGS and unit economics

• Manage GST, TDS and other statutory compliances

• Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements

• Work with accounting tools such as Tally, Zoho or QuickBooks

• Build and maintain reporting systems that give the team a clear view of the business

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

2–6 years of experience in Accounting / Finance

D2C / E-commerce experience is mandatory

Someone who understands e-commerce accounting, marketplaces, payment gateways and inventory

Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations

Hands-on experience with Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks

Strong command of Excel / Google Sheets

Detail-oriented, organised and comfortable taking ownership

Someone who doesn’t just record numbers — but understands what they mean

Someone who can work independently and keep things accurate even when there are multiple brands and moving pieces

No purely bookkeeping mindset
