We are seeking an experienced Snowflake/dbt Data Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise

data modernization initiative involving migration of legacy SAP BODS, SQL, and Informatica IICS

workloads into a modern Snowflake and dbt architecture. The engineer will work closely with

onshore technical leads to develop scalable, high-performance data pipelines while adhering to

enterprise architecture standards..

Key Responsibilities

• Develop dbt models for staging, intermediate, ODS, and consumption layers.

• Convert legacy SQL, SAP BODS, and IICS transformation logic into dbt models.

• Design modular and reusable dbt macros and transformation frameworks.

• Optimize Snowflake SQL performance and warehouse utilization.

• Implement data transformation best practices using ELT architecture.

• Create technical documentation, lineage, and source-to-target mappings.





• Participate in code reviews and deployment activities.

• Support migration validation and reconciliation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience

• 3+ years of Snowflake

• Solid dbt development experience

• Advanced SQL

• Data Warehouse concepts

• Performance tuning

• Git

• CI/CD

• Agile

Preferred Skills

• SAP BODS migration experience

• Informatica IICS

• Insurance domain

• Guidewire data model

• Python

• Azure/AWS

Please note this is CONTRACT role for 6 months duration.

Experience in Insurance Domain and migration experience preferred !!

Must be immediate joiner !!
