ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER – SALES & MARKETING

Location: Zonal Office – East / West / North / South

Role:

We are looking for a field-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to drive new business development, customer acquisition, existing account growth and achievement of assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business through direct field visits, lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Develop B2B industrial/institutional customers and achieve 300–400 KL/month sales targets.
- Manage existing accounts, generate repeat business and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Handle customers across Transformer, Power, Lubricants, Polymer, Rubber, Textile, FMCG, Pharma and Chemical industries.
- Promote and sell Transformer Oils, Liquid Paraffins, White Oils, Specialty Oils and Lubricants.
- Prepare/follow up quotations, convert leads into orders and support collection follow-ups.




- Conduct 18–21 days/month regional travel for customer visits and market development.
- Monitor competitors, identify recent applications/markets and develop potential channel partners.
- Coordinate with Logistics, Accounts, Technical and Sales teams for order execution, KYC, payments and customer issues.
- Maintain sales pipeline, visit reports, MIS and update all customer visits in KOOPS/CRM.

Candidate Profile

- 4–6 years of proven B2B Industrial/Institutional Field Sales experience.
- Experience in Specialty Oils, Transformer Oils, White Oils, Liquid Paraffins, Lubricants, Chemicals or related industrial products preferred.
- Strong business development, customer acquisition, negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Target-driven with strong industrial market knowledge and willingness to travel extensively.
- Retail, small-pack or purely desk-based sales experience will not be considered.
