Central Training and Placement Associate – Non-Technical Programmes: Responsible for placement activities, industry engagement, recruitment drives, and career support for students from non-technical programmes.

Programmes: Psychology, Journalism & Mass Communication, Law, MBA, BBA.

Role Purpose

To generate placement and internship opportunities, strengthen recruiter engagement, build industry partnerships, and support career development initiatives across assigned programmes.

Key Responsibilities

· Generate and facilitate placement and internship opportunities.

· Identify, approach, onboard, and maintain relationships with new and existing recruiters.

· Conduct recruiter outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and corporate visits.

· Build a solid industry network aligned with the assigned programmes.

· Coordinate end-to-end campus recruitment drives and recruitment activities.

· Explore PPOs, off-campus opportunities, live projects, apprenticeships, and industry engagements.

· Maintain recruiter databases, placement MIS, student records, and reports.

· Track industry trends, hiring requirements, and emerging career opportunities.

· Coordinate with Deans, HoDs, faculty coordinators, students, and other stakeholders.





· Support NAAC, NBA, NIRF, rankings, surveys, audits, and institutional reporting.

· Facilitate industry sessions, career initiatives, and employability activities.

· Achieve defined placement, internship, recruiter engagement, and industry-connect targets.

· Undertake other responsibilities assigned by higher authorities.

Programme-Specific Industry Focus

Non-Tech: Law Firms, Corporate Legal Teams, Media, Advertising, PR, Digital Media, HR, Consulting, Research, NGOs and Social Impact organisations.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

· MBA / PGDM / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc / LL.M / M.A. or relevant postgraduate qualification.

· Experience in Training & Placement, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, HR, Corporate Relations, or Industry Relations.

· Strong communication, networking, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.

· Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and MIS/CRM tools.

· Target-oriented with strong coordination and follow-up skills.

· Professional personality and strong corporate etiquette.

· Fluency in English and Marathi/Hindi.
