Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer with strong experience in integration design, API development, event streaming, cloud technologies, and microservices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable integration solutions using Node.js, Kafka, AWS, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using integration design patterns and best practices.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs using Node.js frameworks, preferably Fastify.
- Develop event-driven integrations using Kafka and event streaming platforms.
- Work with API Management platforms, preferably Kong.
- Develop and deploy integration solutions within the AWS cloud ecosystem.
- Design and implement microservices-based applications.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Codefresh.
- Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and scripting languages such as Bash for automation.
- Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) and software development best practices.
- Analyse logs, monitor application performance, and troubleshoot integration issues in cloud environments.
- Support incident management and provide effective technical resolutions.
- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including technical analysis, requirement gathering, development, testing, release, maintenance, and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts.
- Document integration flows, technical solutions, and relevant system processes.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

- Strong understanding of Integration Design and Integration Patterns.
- Hands-on experience with API Management platforms, preferably Kong.




- Experience with Event Streaming and Event Processing platforms, particularly Kafka.
- Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs using Node.js frameworks, preferably Fastify.
- Experience working in an AWS development environment and ecosystem.
- Experience with Microservices, TDD, Git, and Container Orchestration.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, or Codefresh.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash.
- Strong programming skills in Node.js, Java, or Python.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience with log analysis and monitoring in cloud environments.
- Good understanding of Agile processes and software development methodologies.
- Experience working across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and collaboration skills.

Good-to-Have Skills and Experience

- Experience working across multiple cloud platforms, particularly AWS and GCP.
- Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven workflows.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, or GCP Stackdriver.
- Understanding of cloud security, encryption, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and GDPR.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Karate, or REST Assured.
- Experience deploying and managing integrations on Kubernetes environments such as EKS or GKE.
- Knowledge of networking concepts including VPC, PrivateLink, Service Mesh, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Knowledge of retail and commercial banking systems and technology ecosystems.
- Experience working in banking or financial services environments.
