Job Title: MEP Head (GM/AGM) – Logistics Park Development

Role Summary:

The MEP Head (GM/AGM) will provide strategic leadership for the planning, design, execution, commissioning, and lifecycle management of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) infrastructure across multiple Grade A Warehousing, Integrated Logistics Parks, and Industrial Infrastructure projects. The role will drive engineering excellence, sustainability initiatives, operational efficiency, cost optimisation, statutory compliance, and stakeholder management while leading high-performing MEP teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

- Develop and implement MEP strategies, engineering standards, and best practices across multiple projects.
- Lead end-to-end MEP planning from concept design through commissioning and handover.
- Standardise MEP specifications, design guidelines, and project execution methodologies.
- Build and mentor regional MEP teams while driving performance and technical excellence.

Engineering & Utility Infrastructure

- Oversee the design and execution of 11kV/33kV power distribution networks, substations, transformer yards, RMUs, HT/LT systems, fire water networks, pump rooms, water supply, drainage, and utility infrastructure.
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable to support future expansion and tenant requirements.

Electrical & Renewable Energy

- Provide technical leadership for HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, DG/Gas gensets, bus ducts, warehouse lighting, earthing, and lightning protection.




- Drive renewable energy initiatives including rooftop solar projects, EPC management, structural coordination, net metering approvals, grid synchronisation, and energy performance optimisation.

Fire & Life Safety

- Lead the design and implementation of hydrant, sprinkler, ESFR, fire alarm, and life safety systems.
- Ensure compliance with National Building Code (NBC), Fire Department requirements, and all applicable safety regulations.

Water, Utilities & Sustainability

- Oversee STP, ETP, water recycling, rainwater harvesting, stormwater management, and flood mitigation systems.
- Drive ESG initiatives through energy efficiency, carbon reduction, water conservation, and Green Building/IGBC certification targets.

Project Governance

- Lead contractor prequalification, tendering, techno-commercial evaluations, vendor negotiations, and procurement strategies.
- Monitor project schedules, quality, risk, productivity, commissioning, and project delivery across multiple sites.
- Establish project review mechanisms and ensure timely issue resolution.

Commercial & Cost Management

- Own MEP budgets, BOQs, value engineering, procurement planning, cost benchmarking, and financial controls.
- Review and approve contractor bills,



variation orders, and commercial claims.
- Drive cost optimisation without compromising quality or timelines.

Stakeholder & Tenant Management

- Interface with clients, consultants, architects, EPC contractors, utility authorities, and statutory agencies.
- Review and approve tenant MEP designs, utility requirements, load enhancements, metering arrangements, and infrastructure integration.

Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure compliance with statutory approvals from Electrical Utilities, Fire Department, Pollution Control Board, and Renewable Energy authorities.
- Establish governance frameworks for quality assurance, safety, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. A postgraduate qualification in Project Management or Construction Management is an added advantage.
- 15–20 years of experience in MEP engineering, with significant leadership experience in Grade A Warehousing, Industrial Parks, Logistics Parks, Data Centres, Manufacturing Facilities, or Large Industrial Infrastructure.
- Proven track record of leading multiple large-scale projects and managing cross-functional engineering teams.
- Solid experience in HT/LT systems, substations, rooftop solar, STP/ETP, utility infrastructure, fire protection systems, and sustainable building solutions.
