Assistant Sales Manager

The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, managing sales operations, and driving revenue growth. The role involves supervising the sales team, developing customer relationships, identifying recent business opportunities, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies and plans.
- Support the Sales Manager in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Manage and motivate the sales team to improve performance.
- Generate leads and identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Handle key customers and support account management activities.
- Monitor sales pipeline, leads, conversions, and follow-ups.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities.
- Support pricing,



negotiation, and deal-closing activities.
- Manage distributors, dealers, channel partners, or sales territories.
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, finance, and customer service teams.
- Track team performance and ensure timely achievement of targets.
- Provide sales training, coaching, and guidance to team members.
- Resolve customer issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper usage and updating of CRM and sales databases.
