Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong Node.js experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and APIs.

You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other engineering teams to design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production problems.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with web/mobile applications.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.




- Work with Git and standard CI/CD and deployment processes.
- Contribute to system design and technical discussions.

Required Skills

- 2–6 years of qualified experience in backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and API design.
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Good understanding of relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of SQL and database design.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
- Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT/OAuth.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and backend architecture.

Good to Have

- Experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other caching/message queue technologies.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
