Job Description:

- Manager Legal to lead and manage the organization's legal and compliance operations.

- The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, support internal stakeholders, and liaise with external advisors to safeguard the company's interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Due Diligence Governance: Lead and manage financial and legal due diligence processes to support fundraising efforts and organizational growth. Develop and implement corporate governance frameworks and compliance policies.

Stakeholder Engagement : Act as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for investors, board members, and external stakeholders. Coordinate with internal departments to align on compliance and legal matters.

Legal Advisory : Provide guidance on compliance, legislation, municipal permissions, and approvals. Collaborate with external advisory agencies for specialized support.

Contract Management : Discuss and negotiate terms with internal and external stakeholders during the contracting process. Draft and review legal documents such as MOUs, NDAs, LOIs, POAs, indemnity bonds, sale deeds, lease agreements, rental agreements, and license agreements.



Conduct title scrutiny for property acquisitions.

Board and Committee Operations : Organize and manage board meetings and committee meetings.

Litigation Support : Prepare and review legal documents for litigation, including legal notices, petitions, complaints, written statements, counter affidavits, consent terms, and argument notes. Manage and represent the company in various litigations, including civil, criminal, arbitration, consumer matters, and labor disputes.

Compliance Management : Oversee statutory compliances and procedures for the company. Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, registrars, share transfer agents, and legal advisors. Conduct internal reviews or audits to ensure compliance procedures are followed. Identify and address compliance issues requiring investigation or action.

Government Liaison : Interact with municipal authorities and government regulatory bodies as needed.
