Core Responsibilities

- Patient Care: Consult with patients to understand symptoms, provide diagnoses, and discuss treatment options.
- Diagnostics: Order and perform diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, CT scans, and MRIs, to assess cardiovascular health.
- Treatment and Management: Develop and implement treatment plans, which may include prescribing medication, recommending lifestyle changes, and performing procedures or surgeries.
- Collaboration: Work with other specialists, such as surgeons, dietitians, nurses, and referring physicians, to provide holistic patient care.
- Education: Educate patients and their families on managing heart conditions and promoting cardiovascular health through diet and exercise.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR) of patient appointments, tests, and treatments.
