About the Role

Mousuni Beach Canvas Resort is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the resorts day-to-day accounting, guest billing, revenue records, expenses, and financial transactions.

The ideal candidate should be organized, accurate, and capable of handling accounts related to rooms, food & beverages, guest services, daily expenses, and general resort operations .

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting transactions of the resort.
- Prepare and manage guest bills, invoices, receipts, vouchers, and payment records.
- Manage room booking and accommodation billing, including check-in/check-out related billing.
- Prepare and maintain food and beverage bills and other guest service charges.
- Ensure accurate guest-wise billing and settlement of accounts.
- Maintain daily records of room revenue, food sales, and other resort income.
- Record and monitor daily expenses such as purchases, supplies, utilities, staff expenses, transportation, maintenance, and other operational costs.
- Maintain proper cash, UPI, card, bank, and other payment transaction records.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
- Monitor outstanding guest payments and ensure proper settlement of bills.
- Maintain daily sales and expense reports and provide necessary updates to management.
- Maintain organized records of purchase bills, expense bills,



guest bills, and supporting documents.
- Monitor and maintain room-wise and department-wise revenue and expense records.
- Coordinate with the resort manager, operations team, kitchen/restaurant team, vendors, auditors, and CA for accounting and financial requirements.
- Verify bills and supporting documents before making or recording payments.
- Assist with monthly account closing, expense analysis, and financial reporting.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and taxation purposes.
- Handle other accounting and finance-related responsibilities as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or a related field.
- Previous experience in hotel, resort, hospitality, or general accounting will be preferred.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping, billing, ledger maintenance, cash handling, and bank reconciliation.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally / Tally Prime is preferred.
- Good understanding of GST invoices and basic taxation will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple transactions and daily accounting records efficiently.
- Good communication and coordination skills.




- Ability to work in a hospitality/resort workplace and coordinate with different departments.
- Honest, responsible, and capable of maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
