WE’RE HIRING | PRINCIPAL – MANAGEMENTInstitution: Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions (HGPI)Location: Kala Amb, District Sirmaur, Himachal PradeshEmployment Type: Full-time | On-campusABOUT THE ROLEHimalayan Group of Qualified Institutions invites applications from accomplished academic professionals for the position of Principal – Management, to lead the academic and administrative development of its management programmes, including BBA and MBA.We seek a proactive leader with experience at renowned private universities or colleges, a strong understanding of management education, and a demonstrated ability to improve academic quality, develop faculty, strengthen industry partnerships, and enhance student outcomes.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE- Academic qualifications, experience, research credentials, and other eligibility requirements must meet the prevailing AICTE norms applicable to the position and the requirements of the affiliating university.- A strong academic background in Management or a relevant discipline, with the prescribed postgraduate and doctoral qualifications.- Experience working with renowned private universities or reputed colleges.- Proven experience in academic administration, faculty mentoring, and institutional development.- Previous leadership experience as a Principal, Director, Dean, or Head of Department will be preferred, subject to meeting the prescribed eligibility requirements.- A strong record of teaching, research, and industry engagement.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAcademic Leadership- Lead academic planning and delivery for BBA, MBA, and other approved management programmes.- Ensure timely implementation of academic calendars, teaching plans, assessments, and university requirements.- Promote case-based teaching, business simulations, live projects, presentations,



and experiential learning.- Strengthen students’ business knowledge, analytical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.Faculty Management & Development- Identify staffing requirements and support the recruitment of qualified faculty.- Mentor faculty members and monitor teaching quality, research contributions, and assigned responsibilities.- Organise faculty development programmes and encourage continuous professional learning.Industry Collaboration & Placements- Build relationships with companies, industry associations, entrepreneurs, and alumni.- Facilitate internships, live consultancy projects, industry visits, guest lectures, and corporate mentoring.- Work closely with the Training & Placement team to improve placement readiness and employment outcomes.- Promote practical exposure to marketing, finance, human resources, operations, analytics, and entrepreneurship.Research & Entrepreneurship- Encourage quality research publications, funded projects, consultancy assignments, and interdisciplinary collaboration.- Support entrepreneurship activities, business plan competitions, and student innovation.- Organise conferences, seminars, workshops, and management events.Administration & Compliance- Oversee academic records, departmental planning, resource utilisation, and reporting.- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, university, and institutional requirements.- Lead preparation for inspections,
