Role PurposeLead the entire Ahmedabad sandwich panel plant from commissioning and stabilization through full-scale production, owning safety, output, quality, cost, people and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities- End-to-end ownership of plant operations: production, PPC, maintenance, quality, stores, dispatch, utilities and EHS coordination.- Lead commissioning, trial production, SOP finalization and ramp-up of the continuous PUR/PIR panel line.- Set daily/weekly/monthly production plans aligned to sales orders, material availability and delivery commitments.- Drive OEE, productivity, yield, line speed, changeover control, scrap reduction, energy efficiency and manpower optimization.- Ensure stable control of foaming, profiling/forming, curing, cutting, packing and finished panel handling.- Build preventive and predictive maintenance discipline to minimise breakdowns and downtime.- Own incoming, in-process and final quality: steel facings, chemicals, adhesives, insulation core, panel dimensions, finished performance.- Develop SOPs, work instructions, skill matrices, shift structures, training and accountability systems.- Coordinate with sales, purchase, finance and management on order priorities, inventory, cost, complaints and capacity planning.- Lead RCA, CAPA,



5S and safety; recruit, mentor and evaluate key production and technical staff during start-up.- Present plant MIS on production, rejection, downtime, consumption, manpower, dispatch and risks.Commissioning & Ramp-Up Priorities- Complete commissioning readiness, punch-point closure and secure trial production with OEM teams.- Recruit and stabilize the core production, quality, maintenance and shift team before commercial ramp-up.- Freeze SOPs, shift reporting, material consumption standards and daily management routines.- Establish the preventive maintenance calendar, critical spares list and breakdown escalation matrix.- Achieve repeatable panel quality across key thicknesses, profiles and PUR/PIR combinations.- Build a 90/180-day ramp-up plan with measurable output, rejection, downtime and cost targets.KPIsProduction plan adherence and OTIF dispatch | OEE, line utilization, throughput | Scrap, rejection, chemical and steel yield | Breakdown hours and PM compliance | Customer complaints and CAPA closure | Conversion cost and energy consumption | Safety, 5S and workforce discipline | Successful commissioning and ramp-up
