Description

We are seeking a skilled Application Security Analyst to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in identifying and mitigating application security risks, and will work closely with our development teams to ensure that security is embedded into our applications from the ground up.

Responsibilities

- Conduct security assessments of applications to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for new applications and features.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines for application security.
- Monitor and analyze application security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
- Provide training and awareness programs for development teams regarding secure coding practices.





Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in application security or a related field.
- Strong understanding of web application security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
- Experience with security assessment tools (e.g., static and dynamic analysis tools).
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and threat modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS) and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Ability to analyze and interpret security logs and reports.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace.
