About the Role

We're seeking a versatile and technically skilled Multilingual Video Editor to join our dynamic localisation team. You'll transform high-performing videos, promos, and advertisements into culturally resonant versions across multiple languages, ensuring each adaptation feels native and impactful.

Your core responsibility is to repurpose videos across different languages using advanced audio sync methods within professional editing software. You'll manage multilingual content workflows efficiently while maintaining the creative integrity and emotional resonance of the original material.

This role is perfect for editors who excel at the intersection of technical precision and cultural storytelling. We need those who can seamlessly balance tight deadlines with creative excellence in a multilingual production environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and localize video content (ads, promos, social media videos) for multiple language audiences
- Execute localization using sync techniques such as waveform matching, markers, timecode alignment, and auto-sync plugins
- Sync localized voice-overs and subtitles with original visuals while preserving emotional tone, timing, pacing, and narrative impact
- Manage multiple language versions of the same video efficiently within organized project workflows
- Adapt visual elements including on-screen text, graphics, lower thirds, and overlays to ensure cultural and linguistic relevance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with script translators, voice artists, language experts, and project managers to ensure consistency and quality across all language outputs




- Optimize workflows for scalability and quick turnaround across concurrent multilingual projects

Requirements

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro (Primary), Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve
- Technical Skills: Strong command of audio syncing methods: manual waveform sync, timecode alignment, auto-sync tools, audio markers, and frame-level precision editing
- Technical Skills: Experience working with multilingual audio tracks and managing multi-language layers within editing timelines
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with subtitle syncing, VO alignment, and multilingual subtitle workflows (SRT, VTT formats)
- Language & Creative Skills: Fluency in English and Hindi (reading, writing, and cultural understanding)
- Language & Creative Skills: Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
- Language & Creative Skills: Ability to adapt content for diverse regional audiences while retaining original messaging and emotional weight
- Language & Creative Skills: Cultural sensitivity and awareness of regional nuances, humor, idioms, and contextual references
- Professional Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and quality control
- Professional Skills: Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple language outputs simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in multilingual content localization, dubbing, or adaptation projects
- Familiarity with audio sync plugins and tools (e.g., PluralEyes, Auto-Align, Sync-N-Link)
- Background in advertising, social media, digital marketing, or branded content production
- Understanding of regional humor, idioms, and cultural nuances across Indian languages or international markets
- Experience with batch exports, templated workflows, or automation tools for multi-language delivery
- Knowledge of additional Indian or international languages is a robust plus
