Operating entirely remotely across India, we combine journalism-grade storytelling with performance marketing tactics to secure high-impact press coverage and audience engagement for clients in tech, sustainability, and consumer D2C spaces. Role & Responsibilities

- Identify, research, and pitch high-potential media outlets, journalists, and influencers aligned with client verticals (tech, climate, D2C, etc.)
- Build and maintain a dynamic database of media contacts, including beat tracking, response rates, and pitching performance metrics
- Partner with client success and content teams to develop custom pitch angles, press kits, and embargoed story leads
- Track and report on media placements, sentiment, and campaign KPIs — translating coverage into client ROI narratives
- Proactively scout emerging media trends, podcasters, YouTube creators, and niche publications for untapped exposure opportunities




- Own outreach cadence — follow-ups, relationship nurturing, and post-placement relationship management to convert one-offs into recurring coverage

Skills & Qualifications

- Must-Have

- Media pitching
- Press release writing
- Journalist outreach
- Media monitoring tools (Meltwater, Cision, HARO)
- CRM or outreach automation (Lemlist, Lemlist, Mailshake)
- Story pitching frameworks
- Google Sheets/Excel (for media tracking dashboards)
- Basic understanding of SEO and owned media amplification

- Preferred

- Experience pitching tech or D2C brands
- Familiarity with podcast pitching or YouTube influencer outreach
- Knowledge of Indian media landscape (Hindi/English regional and national outlets)
