Required Skills – Service Mapping:
- Robust understanding of Service Mapping concepts and architecture.
- Ability to analyze and interpret end-to-end service maps.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Creating service maps using ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Understanding and configuring entry points and CI relationships.
- Identifying and fulfilling prerequisites for discovery.
- Performing mid-server configurations and network access validations.
- Proficient in Discovery process:
- Running probes and sensors.
- Identifying dependencies and mapping services accurately.
- Experience in modifying or creating discovery patterns to tailor service identification.
- Ability to troubleshoot and remediate errors in Service Mapping processes and outputs.
- Familiarity with best practices and performance tuning related to service maps.
