Job Requirements
Software Design & Architecture
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns (creational, structural, behavioral).
• Ability to design modular, maintainable, and scalable systems.
Programming Languages:
• Proficiency in: Python
• Familiarity with advanced language features and best practices.
• Nice to Have: Experience in Powershell, YAML, C++, Rust
Toolchain & Packaging
• Git, Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code
• Hands-on experience with modern Python packaging tools (e.g., Poetry, uv).
• Knowledge of semantic versioning,
lock files, and dependency pinning for reproducible builds.
• Experience with virtual environments and multi-version compatibility strategies.
Release Engineering
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) for packaging and release automation.
• Ability to implement validation gates, automated unit/integration tests, and branching strategies with governance for API changes.
Embedded Systems & Communication Protocols
• Exposure to embedded systems development and debugging.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as Serial (UART) and SSH.
• Experience using libraries like Paramiko for secure remote operations.
Infrastructure & Deployment
• Understanding of Python acquisition and installation strategies across platforms (Windows/Linux).
• Ability to integrate packaging and release workflows into enterprise environments securely.
