Quality Engineer / Senior Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and improve FPY (First Pass Yield) and RTY (Rolled Throughput Yield) across projects.
Analyze recurring quality issues and drive improvement actions through cross-functional teams.
Correlate customer rejections with internal failures to identify detection gaps and implement corrective actions.
Lead GYAT (Go, See, Act, Teach) reviews and ensure effective closure of actions.
Monitor critical process parameters using SPC, Cp, and Cpk analysis.
Provide real-time support to IPQA teams on process observations, deviations, and quality clarifications.
Review and update PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) and Control Plans.
Ensure timely closure of audit findings and conduct periodic reviews of previous audit actions.
Apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis,



and CAPA.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Robust knowledge of PCB assemblies, electronic components, and mechanical inspection.
Experience in Customer Quality, IPQA (In-Process Quality Assurance), and Incoming Quality functions.
Hands-on experience with SAP and quality documentation systems.
Familiarity with IPC standards, preferably IPC-A-600.
Strong understanding of quality tools including:
SPC
Cp/Cpk
GRR
PFMEA
Control Plans
8D
Lean Six Sigma
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Educational Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in Electronics Engineering or any Electronics-related discipline.
