Qt / QML Engineer (C++, Cross-Platform)

About the role
We're hiring a strong Qt engineer to build and customize a cross-platform desktop and Android application. You'll own its look, layout, and behavior, rebranding it, reshaping the UI, and tailoring what different users can see and do, working on top of a large existing codebase and its customization system rather than starting from scratch.
This is a high-ownership role. For the most part, one solid engineer who can take a complex codebase and shape it into a polished product.
What you'll do
Build and customize a cross-platform (Windows + Android) application in Qt6, QML, and C++.
Rebrand and reshape the UI and UX layout, theming, navigation, working closely with a UI/UX teams.
Tailor what different users see and can do: show or hide features, lock or remove settings, and simplify flows for end users while keeping full capability available where it's needed.
Work through the codebase's plugin / customization architecture to override behavior without diverging from upstream,



so the build stays maintainable and upgradeable.
Own cross-platform builds and packaging (Windows and Android) with the team.
Work with domain and QA to make sure every change is correct and safe on real hardware before it ships.
What we're looking for
Strong Qt6, QML, and C++, you've built and shipped real Qt applications, not just experimented.
Comfortable inside a large existing C++/Qt codebase, reading it, extending it, and overriding behavior cleanly rather than hacking it apart.
Solid QML UI work: layouts, theming, custom components, and interfaces that hold up across desktop and mobile screen sizes.
Cross-platform build experience (CMake; Windows, and ideally Android).
Able to own a product end to end with little scaffolding around you, this is an early-stage, take-initiative role.
Nice to have
MAVLink, ground-control software, robotics, or other hardware-facing / field applications.
