Job Description: PostgreSQL Development – Technical Lead (Exp: 8 Yrs to 12 Yrs)

We are seeking a talented and motivated PostgreSQL Development Lead to join as a Technical Lead.

Experience should have 8 to 12 years of SQL development.
Design, develop, and maintain database systems using PostgreSQL.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure effective data retrieval and processing.
Write and optimize complex PL/PGSQL procedures and functions to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Migration from Oracle to Postgres SQL for Stored Procedures, Packages and query syntax.
Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions with front-end and processing applications.
Analyze and improve database performance, ensuring system stability and scalability.
Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.




Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Document database designs, procedures, and structures for reference and compliance purposes.
Stay updated on new technologies and tools related to PostgreSQL and database management.
Experience in data warehouse design and maintenance
Experience in agile development processes using Jira and Confluence.
Experience in cross-functional teams.
Understanding on the SDLC.
Understanding on the Agile methodologies.
Communication with customer and producing the Daily status report.
Should have good oral and written communication.
Should be a good team player.
Should be proactive and adaptive.

Key Skills: PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL, NoSQL, PL/SQL procedures, and functions.
