Job Summary
The Sr. Procurement Manager at Jabil, Inc. will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes to achieve cost savings, improve efficiency, and ensure supply chain continuity. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in procurement within a complex manufacturing workplace.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for key commodities and services,
aligning with Jabil's global procurement strategy and business objectives.
* Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs), driving continuous improvement and cost reduction.
* Manage and monitor supplier performance, conducting regular business reviews and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
* Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers, expanding the supply base to mitigate risks and capitalize on market opportunities.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, finance, and legal teams to understand material requirements, resolve supply chain issues, and support new product introductions.
