JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
· BE or BTech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
· 8–10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a reputed manufacturing or process-plant workplace.
· Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, breakdown,



and condition-based maintenance practices for production equipment and utilities.
· Hands-on expertise in rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, piping, and mechanical drives.
· Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve reliability and reduce repeat breakdowns.
· Working knowledge of maintenance planning, shutdown execution, spare-parts management, lubrication practices, alignment, balancing, vibration monitoring, and basic condition-monitoring techniques.
· Maintenance work-order management, equipment history, and maintenance KPI reporting, including MTBF, MTTR, downtime, and PM compliance.
· Sound understanding of EHS requirements, permit-to-work controls, lockout/tagout, contractor safety, and statutory requirements applicable to mechanical equipment.
