Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced VoIP Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Voice over IP (VoIP) infrastructure. The candidate should have strong knowledge of SIP, VoIP protocols, IP networking, call routing, and enterprise telephony solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot VoIP and IP Telephony systems.
- Manage SIP trunks, SIP gateways, IP phones, extensions, and call routing.
- Troubleshoot voice-related issues including call drops, one-way audio, no audio, call quality, registration, and connectivity issues.
- Monitor and maintain VoIP infrastructure, voice gateways, PBX and telephony platforms.
- Perform configuration and troubleshooting of SIP, RTP, SDP, TCP/IP, UDP and DNS.
- Analyze SIP messages and call flows using tools such as Wireshark.
- Work with network teams to troubleshoot VLAN, QoS, routing, switching, NAT and firewall issues affecting voice traffic.
- Configure and troubleshoot VoIP endpoints, softphones, IP phones and voice gateways.




- Support number provisioning, dial plans, hunt groups, IVR, call forwarding and call routing.
- Monitor voice infrastructure and proactively identify performance and availability issues.
- Coordinate with telecom/service providers for SIP trunk, PRI and connectivity-related issues.
- Perform incident, problem and change management as per ITIL processes.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, configuration details and troubleshooting procedures.
- Participate in planned maintenance, upgrades, migrations and implementation activities.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for VoIP-related incidents.

Required Technical Skills
- Robust hands-on experience with VoIP and IP Telephony.
- Good knowledge of SIP, RTP, SDP, TCP/IP, UDP and DNS.
- Experience with SIP Trunking and Voice Gateways.
- Knowledge of IP-PBX / Call Manager environments.
- Experience with Cisco Voice / Cisco Unified Communication
