Job Title: Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer

Reports to: Global Sr. Director of IT Security

Summary:

The Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for leading and implementing the cybersecurity program technical execution. They will work closely with Global IT and third-party partners to design and implement security capabilities in accordance with the company's cybersecurity strategy. This role heavily favors infrastructure security, cloud security, and threat management over application or data security (though secondary familiarity in those domains is preferred).

This role will serve as a primary technical advisor to IT teams, guiding the secure design and deployment of infrastructure, identity, and data protection controls across IT-managed platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS





Infrastructure & Cloud Security Controls
- Design, implement, and operate baseline security controls across multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.
- Partner with IT teams to harden Linux/Windows operating systems, virtualization platforms, container environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and network infrastructure.
- Implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW), micro-segmentation, and secure cloud landing zones.

Threat Management & Security Operations
- Design, deploy, and operationalize the unified Microsoft Defender portal (XDR) and Microsoft Sentinel SIEM/SOAR platform, leveraging automated attack disruption, custom KQL detection rules, and KQL-based threat hunting.
- Oversee continuous vulnerability management, baseline compliance scanning, and remediation tracking across network and server infrastructure.
