Description
The Investment Back Office skilled at USGI Legal Entity will ensure seamless operational efficiency across all investment activities. This role involves end‑to‑end trade processing, precise investment accounting, daily reconciliations, timely regulatory reporting, thorough documentation, and strict adherence to IRDAI guidelines, enabling the Investment Department to focus on strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Process and validate trade entries from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain investment accounting records, including position keeping and valuation.
- Perform daily reconciliations of cash, securities, and counterparties.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports in line with IRDAI requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all investment transactions.
- Monitor and resolve trade breaks, settlement failures, and exceptions.
- Collaborate with front‑office, risk, and compliance teams to address issues.




- Support month‑end and quarter‑end closing activities and audit preparations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Continuously identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in investment back‑office operations or fund administration.
- Strong knowledge of trade processing, investment accounting, and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with IRDAI regulations and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and investment management systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Murex).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Detail‑oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
