Seeking a Software Developer 2 with strong Retail POS and Store Technology expertise to lead design and development of scalable, cloud native applications. The role requires hands on Full Stack (MERN) experience, microservices architecture, AWS cloud, and a design thinking mindset to solve complex store level challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Support and help in development and peer to peer reviews in store retail systems
- Design and implement microservices based architectures
- Build full stack applications using React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB
- Hands-On Development and deploy solutions on AWS
- Apply design thinking to enhance store associate and customer experiences
- Collaborate with product, UX, cross-account teams and retail business teams.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring
- Ensure system reliability, performance, security, and scalability
- Drive CI/CD adoption and engineering best practices
- E2E Accountability on respective project deliverables.

Key Skills Required:
- Retail domain experience, specifically Store Technology




- Microservices architecture.
- 6 to 8 Years of Total experience.
- Strong knowledge on creating common node or UI components.
- Strong knowledge on using AI tools like Windsurf in Development.
- Design Thinking approach to solution development
- Full Stack Development – MERN stack preferred
- Mentor developers and write clean, well documented, and testable code.
- Advanced AWS cloud experience
- MongoDB / SQL / NoSQL databases
- Mandatory Solid system design and distributed systems knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Docker / Kubernetes

Good to Have:
- Payments, promotions, loyalty, or store integrations experience
- Java and enterprise systems exposure
