About the Role
Upstox is looking for a Head of Organic Content to own and scale our organic content ecosystem spanning financial news, editorial content, in-house creative production (UpStudio), and SEO oversight. This is a leadership role for someone who can build a content engine that drives trust, engagement, and discovery for Upstox across owned platforms, without relying on paid acquisition
What you'll own:
Own the content strategy, editorial calendar, and quality bar for market news, explainers,
and trending content for traders and investors
Build and lead a team of writers, editors, and creators; ensure accuracy and compliance with financial content norms
Lead UpStudio's output, video, short-form, and design-led content across social and owned channels from ideation to publishing
Build repeatable content formats/franchises that grow organic reach and brand affinity
Track content performance (traffic, engagement, retention) and continuously iterate based on data
Partner with Marketing, Brand, Product, and Compliance to align content with business priorities
Factor keyword and SEO considerations into content planning and structuring, coordinating with the technical SEO team as needed
Hire, mentor, and manage a lean, high-output content organization
Who you are:
8+ years in content/editorial/media roles, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership capacity
Prior experience in fintech, broking consumer brands preferred
